The Lofthouse Hill Golf Club's Easter Stars in their Eyes show was a great success. 100 people were entertained by Club members and guests on Saturday 3rd April in a professionally produced and well organised show.

The Club extends its thanks to Kevin Nicholls (Musical Director), Jeff & Michelle Pitchforth (Producers), Brian Pawson (Compere), Brenda Pawson (Sales & Publicity) and all of the the Stars - Allan & Glynnis Blackwell, Katie Burton, Diane Harding, Chuck Harman, Liz & Georgina Johnson, Andrea Marshall, Brian Pawson, Jeff & Michelle Pitchforth, Jessica Rayner, Laura Smith, Steve Turner, Jane Wild, Roy White & Ben Woodhead.

Our next Show will be just before Christmas, rehearsal starting in September. New talent is always welcomed, so come an make a name for yourself. Volunteers will be sought later in the year.

This Christmas show is always very popular - numbers again will be limited so you are advised to get your tickets as soon as they become available. Watch out for the details on this web site or in the Clubhouse.

 

Committee news
After a poor turnout on the evening of Sponsors' Day, the Committee have agreed that presentations from now onward, the Club will run a NO SHOW, NO PRIZE policy.

Announcements
New stroke indexes have now been introduced on holes 2, 6, 8 & 9.

The Sunday Clutch each Sunday afternoon in being attended less and less each week. Most weeks only 9 or 10 players are turning up. We may look at running this fun competition on a once per month basis unless attendances improve.

Event news
Captain's Away Day will take place on Thursday 26th August at Wetherby Golf Club. Please add you name onto the list on the Club notice board if you would like to attend. Deposits due by Sunday 1st August with the balance due by Sun 21st August.

Ladies Open Day will take place on Wed 4th August, See the Ladies team page for your tee times.

Seniors Away Day has been booked at Wooley Park Golf Club and will take place on Wed 8th September. A notice will be posted on the Senior's Section notice board. Cost £33 plus £4 toward prizes and twos club.
